Joint Chiefs of Staff Just Pulled the Rug Out from Under Trump with Powerhouse Decision

Trump’s refusal to condemn the white supremacists responsible for the bloodbath in Charlottesville didn’t sit well with the leaders of the Military. Like millions of other Americans, they do not condone racism in any format.

On Wednesday, four members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff came together to denounce the white nationalist community publicly.

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley took to his Twitter account to remind all Americans that the U.S. Army “doesn’t tolerate racism, extremism, or hatred in our ranks.”

He tweeted:

“The Army doesn’t tolerate racism, extremism, or hatred in our ranks. It’s against our Values and everything we’ve stood for since 1775.”

Gen. Robert Neller of the Marines backed up his counterpart in a tweet of his own:

“No place for racial hatred or extremism in @USMC. Our core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment frame the way Marines live and act.”

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein chimed in too:

“I stand with my fellow service chiefs in saying we’re always stronger together-it’s who we are as #Airmen”

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson joined his comrades:

“Events in Charlottesville unacceptable & musnt be tolerated @USNavy forever stands against intolerance & hatred…”

What is your reaction?
